The small girl with her back turned and bow in her hair is me!
ReplyDeleteElaine Stoltz Dowden. In another pictue up higher, I am also the one somewhat hidden sucking my thumb! My Mom(Orlena Stoltz) used to "paint" something on my thumb so I would stop sucking my thumb! The boy next to me is "Bobby", Miriam Stoltz's son and I think the little blonde girl in one of the top pictures, is Marsha Kay, Bobby's sister. I don't know which picture is of Aunt Miriam's infant son, Chuck, who died in a house fire.
The woman standing in picture two with a flower in her hair is my Mom, Orlena Stoltz married to Virgil Stoltz, Lydia Idro Baker Stoltz's son.
ReplyDeleteI have examined picture two. there is no mention that I,Mary Elaine Stoltz is in the picture.
ReplyDeleteI do think I am and am listed as one of Miriam Lust's children. That is Bob and Marsha by me
the one sucking her thumb. That would have been logical for me to be there as we went to Aunt Miriam's house lots of times.
I also think the toddler with their back turned in picture one may have me, but I can't be certain.
I have examined picture two. there is no mention that I,Mary Elaine Stoltz is in the picture.

I am happy to see that my ancestors enjoyed biking.

I am trying not to preoccupy on these children's pictures, but I think they may have been the same year as the children have the same outfits on in each picture so would it be 1945 or 1946? YIKES can I be this old? Almost 70 in October 2013! Elaine Stoltz
