In the 40s several family members from Ohio went to see David A. Baker and Ralph Clarence Kennedy in California. This is the set of pictures of the family doing different activities. They went to the beach, Redwood Forest, Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco and David Baker's almond orchard.

His wife, standing in middle row, third from left, was incorrectly identified as Ralph Baker wife. Her name was Ethel Vira Ford Kennedy. William Centennial Kennedy is the son of Thomas Shanks Kennedy (1848) and Frances Kennedy, and the son of William Kerr Kennedy (1818) and Margaret Shanks Kennedy. Harold Burnside is the great-great grandson of William Kerr and Margaret Shanks Kennedy.
